Yup~It's the final design and coloring of Karmen, the officially mentioned sister of Blaster and Toaster.

I have modified a lot from the first design of her. I can get why there is less canon female tranformers created after I've done her design. It's much harder to creat a femme remains the feminine curves and has a make sense transformation.

The coloring does not come out well IMO. The color scheme does not look decent.

Concepts of character development :

As Blaster had describe Karmen as his "lovely" sister, so I estimate she may be a kind, friendly and caring fembot, the general characteristic of a lovely person.

Since there have got the femme leader like Elita, old and experienced fembot Chromia, reckless young sharpshooter Moonracer, hot chick Arcee and a group of Amazonian femme bots like Roulette, Shadow striker, Vibes, etc. Therefore I make her not being the typical Amazonian, instead of a girl in the neighbourhood, but lack the reckless nature of Moonracer. So she may act a little bit maturer than Moonracer.

Her alt. mode is a heated hair curler. Considered her sibling Blaster's alt mode did reflect his loud and hyper personality, so Karmen was possibly a very feminine fembot and attached to fashion very much. Her perfect occupation would be a Cypertronian cosmetician. By the way, the hair curlers that I've found usually look like massive cannons, then I made her function as pyrotechnic support. Yeah for the enormous firepower!

Then go her name. At first, I think her name "Karmen" was werid for a transfromer since the name is too humanized in my taste. After I 've done some research of the name, I found that the alternative spelling of her name "Carmen" is actually meant "songs" in Latin and and in Ancient Rome, the term was generally used to signify a verse. Besides, I found the name always relates to something musical. Then it make sense that the name "Karmen" was given to Blaster's sister. Moreover, their other sibling Toaster's name maybe related to music since toasting is a method of chanting. [link]
So, Those three siblings are music lovers!!
And Karmen possibly name after a lesbian choir called Carmen Curlers. Maybe she prefers leaning to females...
